Health and Safety
It’s important to ensure you and everyone traveling with you are physically and medically fit for your trip to India. Authentic India Travel reserves the right to exclude anyone whose participation could pose a safety risk to themselves or others. If you require assistance with daily activities, it’s important to bring a companion. We cannot provide personal care services.
India’s medical facilities may differ from what you’re accustomed to. Be sure to bring any necessary medications with you for the duration of your trip. In case of emergency, medical attention will be sought at local facilities, if available, at your own expense.
Activities and Accessibility
Some tours may involve challenging terrain, uneven surfaces, and steps. It’s important to consider your physical abilities when choosing activities.
Independent Suppliers
For various parts of your trip, we partner with independent suppliers like hotels and transportation companies. These entities operate independently and we are not liable for their services.
Photography
We may take photographs during the tour for promotional purposes. By booking, you consent to your image being used unless you inform us otherwise at the tour’s start.
Limitations of Responsibility
We act as an agent for various travel service providers. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or other disruptions that may occur during your trip due to various factors like weather, political unrest, or mechanical issues in either the country of origin, destination, area of passage or elsewhere, or for other reason, or due to acts or default of any company or person involved in arranging the tour, or in the chain of supply. You are responsible for any additional expenses or changes that may arise due to these unforeseen circumstances.
Changes to Itinerary
In rare cases, unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes to the itinerary or cancellation of a tour. Authentic India Travel strives to offer comparable alternatives, but no refunds will be issued in such situations. We also reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary and are not liable for lost or damaged luggage.
Additional Risks
Travel inherently involves risks, including those associated with underdeveloped areas, travel by various modes of transportation, differing sanitation standards, and potential for accidents or illnesses. By participating in the tour, you acknowledge these risks and agree to accept any and all associated liabilities.
As a condition of participating in the tour and activities with Authentic India Travel, you agree to not make any claims against Authentic India Travel or its personnel for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in the tour and activites. This release extends to you, your family members, and any minors traveling with you.
International Treaties
Transportation companies and other service providers may have limitations on their liability as outlined by international conventions. We rely on these conventions to limit our liability in the event of a claim.
Errors and Omissions
Authentic India Travel reserves the right to correct any billing errors. Descriptions and photos on our website are representative and may not reflect actual conditions at the time of your travel.
Bookings with any third-party providers for transportation, meals, or other services are subject to their own terms and conditions, limitations of liability, and exclusions.
If you choose to alter your itinerary due to government restrictions or other reasons, you are responsible for any resulting costs or damages.
