Cancellation Policy

Authentic India Travel Cancellation Policy

Please read the following terms and conditions. By accepting final tour documents and digital files you accept all these terms and conditions. All prices are in US Dollars and Euros per person based on double occupancy accommodations unless otherwise stated. Travel Insurance is mandatory for clients at final payment for all journeys.

Reservations

Reservations should be made in advance as hotels are limited in size, and some sell out. To assure your first choice of accommodation, early reservation is advised. Your journey cost is required to guarantee your reservation. If the departure date is within 60 days, full payment is required to book your accommodations.

Final Payment: Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel a part or all of your travel arrangements due to any reasons, you will be expected to notify us of the same in writing. Depending on the time and date of when we receive your intimation of cancellation, relevant charges will be made.

-10% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non-Refundable Services if intimated 60-30 days before arrival

– 25% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non Refundable Services if intimated 30-15 days prior to arrival.

– 50% of the Cost of the Tour + Cost of Non Refundable Services if intimated 29-07 days prior to arrival. 

Beyond this, you will be charged 100% of the cost in case of any cancellation.

In case of Special Trains Journeys And during peak seasons (Between 20th December and 15th January), a separate cancellation policy is applicable which can be advised as and when required.

Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender:-

  • Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
  • Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy
  • Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airline’s company policy
  • If you cancel the trip after it starts, the refund will be restricted to a limited amount only, which will also depend on the amount we charge the hoteliers / contractors. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals, etc., we do not take refund responsibility.

Our Liabilities & Limitations:-

Please note that after the finalization of the cost of the tour / service, if any entry fees of monuments / museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide fees are increased by the Government of India, an additional fee will be charged.

We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations and changes in programs or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight / train cancellations, accidents, breakdown of machinery or equipment, transportation, weather, disease, landslides, and political reasons.
