Golden Triangle with extension to Kathmandu “Camels and Yacks”
This itinerary gives you the opportunity to see the best of India and Nepal in one visit.
 
Day 1
Arrival in Delhi and visit of the old and new City – Night in Delhi.
 
Day 2
End your visits of Delhi and drive to Agra, capital of the Grand Moghols empire, in a comfortable A/C car.Visit Taj Mahal at sunset. Night in Agra.
 
Day 3
Early morning wake up call to return to Taj Mahal and enjoy the magic of sunrise over this magnificent monument dedicated to love. Visit other sites of interest of your choice in Agra. After lunch, transfer to Jaipur and visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Fatehpur Sikri, founded by Moghol emperor Akbar, is sometimes nicknamed the ghost city as it was abandonned by its occupants several centuries ago. It is a fascinating site that includes many palaces, and a mosque that is still active. Night in Jaipur.
 
Day 4
Take an elephant ride in the early morning to access beautiful Amber fort. In afternoon, visit City Palace, Wind Palace and explore some of the wonderful fabric, crafts and jewelry stores that Jaipur has to offer. Night in Jaipur.
 
Day 5
Continue your discovery of beautiful Jaipur with the Jai Singh II observatory, the Tiger fort and many markets.In the afternoon, drive to Delhi and night in Delhi.
 
Day 6
Finish your visits of Delhi with the Qutub Minar, Humayun’s tumb, Lodi gardens, or Lotus Temple and catch a flight to Kathmandu.Night in Kathmandu.
 
Day 7
Discover beautiful Kathmandu surrounded by mountains and visit the Durbar Square, the “Monkey Temple” and explore the many shops of Thamel, a very vibrant part of town with many cafes and restaurants.Night in Kathmandu.
 
Day 8
Catch a very early mountain flight to see magestic Mount Everest. Visit Patan the ancient Lalitpur and proceed to Bhaktapur formerly known as Bagdaon. You will witness the heart of the former kingdoms of Nepal with the many temples. pagodas and public meeting spaces. In time for sunset, drive to Nagarkhot. Night in Nagarkhot.
 
Day 9

Get up early to see the snow covered Himalayas catch the colors of the morning sky. After a late breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu to see the largest stupa and the Tibetan life that surrounds it.Catch your flight to your next destination.

This Itinerary can be extended to Pokhara for a closer look at mountains with one or more days of trekking. Note that Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. This may change direction of above itinerary to Delhi, Jaipur and then Agra.
